AJ SRAVAN MULUGU (Group Coordinator)
AVSC Kapila group, which was formed with AJ Sravanji as coordinator, has got some very mature Vedanta seekers, who have exposure to several paths of spirituality. Before joining the group-some of the group members were practicing meditation for a long time as well.
The group has taken to Self study, contemplation and reflections on the vedantic texts like Tatva Bodha and Viveka Chudamani and Self knowledge talks of PRABHUJI. We encouraged free discussion of sublime points of Vedanta after a general summary of the talk or text portion studies.
Most of the group members had a deep understanding of the texts studied and therefore quickly drew parallels from several other teachings and anecdotes heard to further elucidate the points. The group also discussed the practical application of the spiritual qualities in our real lives and shared our practical experiences in this regard.
Some of the group members also expressed the intuitions they had in their meditations after our discussion.
All group members share the feeling that PRABHUJI’s influence in their spiritual progress is tremendous!
When the group started discussion there were lengthy discussions with several questions from the group members on very subtle points in Vedanta. These were usually on the nature of Brahman or consciousness and mapping of concepts from Vedanta to Buddhism and other spiritual disciplines. Gradually a common linguistic baseline was established and the discussions were transformed into sublime points of actual spiritual experiences.
Some of the group members were deeply interested in meditation experiences, while some others were trying to tie up the loose ends in tatva. Some others were interested in the practical application of the teachings in everyday lives. Overall Kapila group is a hot passionate group and sessions were always intense and very beneficial to all. The assurance of quick resolution of all doubts from PRABHUJI enabled us to progress fast without going into any conflicts.
Overall we all want to place our deep gratitude to Shri PRABHUJI for giving us this opportunity to progress both spiritually and professionally in our lives through this platform of AVSC study groups!
