Question:
Do human flaws exist in spiritually enlightened people?
Sri Prabhuji:
By flaws if you mean emotional disturbances – anger, fear,jealousy, hatred…etc. No. Freedom from these disturbances is enlightenment. On the otherhand, if by human flaws you mean wrong decisions, mistakes etc – enlightenment does not make a flawless superman/woman. Enlightened one can think more clearly, errors and mistakes will reduce but not completely eliminated due to the limitation of body and mind which is the vehicle for functioning in the world.
While unenlightened people work for selfish reasons seeking happiness, enlightened ones work selflessly out of inner peace. Compassion, love and peace are expressed through actions of Enlightened ones.
