Truth is satyam in Sanskrit. Eternal unchanging reality of SELF – Brahman is Truth.
Words cannot describe/reach Brahman. Hence speaking about Truth is impossible. Words can only point to Truth but cannot speak Truth !
On the other hand fact corresponds to objective reality available to sense perception. We can very well speak about facts. However everything in objective reality is unreal (mithya). Objective reality is a mind game of perception of name and form ( nama, Rupa). Fact is useful for day to day living.
We cannot speak Truth which is Satyam Reality. We can only speak about facts which is unreal (mithyam). This is paradox of life.
