Passion (kama) is intense engagement to seek happiness through any pursuit of one’s liking. Passion causes elation, joy, hurt, stress and suffering depending success and failure.
Real love (prema) is a feeling of connectedness (oneness). Love is about being blissful and sharing happiness. One who acts in love for the activity does not get affected much by success and failures of the outcome.
Actions of Wiseman (jnani) are out of Love. Jnani is blissful and accepts results all actions with equanimity. On the other hand ignorant acting out of passion can suffer if results are not favorable.
