Fire of desire (kamagni) keeps burning in our life. Desires lead to action (karma) which leads to fruits of action (karma phala). Karma and karm phala trap souls in the eternal cycle of transmigration. Forgetfulness of nature of SELF ( avidya – ignorance) is the cause for desire and transmigration (samsara).
Fire of knowledge (Jnanagni) burns the fire of desire (kamagni) by destroying ignorance of SELF through Self knowledge.
