The prefix “con” means cheating (as in conman). Fusion causes confusion. Mixing of Reality of conscious SELF with the unreality of manifest objects causes confusion and suffering in life. I AM pointing to real SELF I is mixed up with the body/mind by pseudo entity the ego is the cause of confusion and suffering in life. Con-fusion caused by the ego is resolved by self enquiry when the ego merges with the Self dropping false identity of body/mind. Confusion to fusion is the freedom from suffering.
