Reflection in the mirror points to the original. Chidabhasa is the reflected consciousness in intellect (buddhi). Chidabhasa is the Jiva individual consciousness. Chidabhasa is superimposed on SELF (atma) and is called Jivatma. Jivatman confused itself as a body and suffers. It is the Jivatma which seeks liberation to realize I am the original – Atma.
