A devotee (bhakta), feels the presence of God in every living and non living being. Feeling the presence of God in every one, he dedicates his life to selfless service (nishkama karma). He feels I am not the doer (naham karta), God alone is doer (Harireva Karta). When he works with this attitude, work becomes worship (puja). Devotee lives with understandging theat the body is instrument of God. Success and failure, gain and loss, fame and blame belong to God and hence devotee remains unaffected and unattached in life.
