As soul (Jivatma) we are visitors to planet earth. Why are we visiting ? Are we here for fun as tourists or are we on a sacred pilgrimage for discovering our SELF ?
A tourist who enjoys the place keeps returning to earth for fun in repeated cycles of birth and death (punarapi janana ..). Tourists often create nuisance and spoils the tourist spot.
A pilgrim on the other hand is respectful of the place. He/she contributes to the earth in a meaningful way and completes spiritual journey of Self discovery (atmano Mokshartham jagad hitaya cha)
