Sir, what is the difference between Witness Consciousness and Pure Consciousness?

Witness consciousness (sakshi) chaitanyam is the observer. Witness observes the changes in mind, body, intellect non-judgementally. At this level of Witness consciousness there is subtle duality of observer and observed.
Pure consciousness or awareness is non dual. There is no other. Witness consciousness and witnessed objects merge in pure awareness – non dual reality. This merger can happen when we understand the nature of Witness & witnessed as mithya (unreal).
