Question:
If the separate-self & the world still continue to appear even after ‘Realization’, then why have so many highly revered sages claim that Enlightenment is the end of samsara?
Sri Prabhuji:
Somebody is terrified by nightmare. He is shivering. Suppose he realizes in the dream that all this is dream – what will he say ? He will laugh – my dream has ended. He may continue to dream for some more time without getting affected by dream.
Enlightened ones realize the nature of waking dream (maya). He is called awakened one. Dream body and dream world may continue for some time. He is not bothered.
An example can be a car is going at 150kmph. Suddenly driver applies brake. Car will go 300 meters and stops due to momentum. Same situation with respect to enlightenment. Momentum of residual karma continues for some time. But jnani is not bothered.
Also this is a gift of nature. If enlightened one drops his body soon after enlightenment, there will be no realized Masters to guide. Nature ensures that body of Enlightened one is preserved for the purpose of teaching. This does not bother “awakened” one. His dream is gone.
