Samsara (suffering)

The word samsara represents family, job and relationships in many Indian languages. Opposites of samsara is escaping to sanyasa (monkhood) dropping family, relationships etc. Societal meaning of samsara and sanyasa is called rudartha (colloquial meaning). We need to understand intended real meaning of these words (gudartha – hidden meaning).

Samsara is our mental state of like (raga) and dislike ( dvesha) causing immense suffering. A householder may become monk and go to Himalayas carrying the mind (samsara) with him.

Esacape from circumstances is not solution. Transforming mind and transcending mind through SELF enquiry (who am I ?) is the solution for samsara.
