The world is called jagat in Sanskrit. Meaning of jagat is Jayate (Born) and gacchati (gone). Born and gone is called world.
World appears to be solid. In reality everything in the world is constantly changing energy pattern. Like waves in ocean, energy pattern appears as changing objects of world and disappear. Everything in the world is constant change – born and gone (jagat).
Suffering is due to clinging to the momentary appearance of form. Attraction (raga) and repulsion (dvesha) for temporary forms causes suffering called samsara
