Path of Devotion (Bhakti) and Path of Wisdom (Jnana) appear to be different. In reality devotion purifies the heart and leads to clarity of intellect Wisdom. Wisdom without devotion is incomplete and Devotion without Wisdom is incomplete. Wisdom without devotion is dry and devotion without wisdom is blind. Both Devotion and Wisdom are required for enlightenment. They are complementary to each other.
