One who is in bondage of samsara is called a baddha. One whose wisdom has flowered is free from samsara is called Buddha. The word Buddha stands for flowering of intellect (buddhi).
One who has understood the nature of suffering in samsara and is on the path of spiritual journey is called prabuddha (mature seeker). One who does not understand he/she is suffering in life even though he/she is fried in the fire of samsara is called pedda(ignorant). Prabuddha who has conquered his/her mind is called Siddha.
