The Eye of wisdom is called Jnana Chakshu. Sense organs are called charma chakshu. Enlightenment is the opening of the eyes of wisdom not sensory perception. A person may see a mirage of water in desert (due to illusion caused by sense perception) but he/she knows there is no water due to eye of wisdom. Similarly an enlightened Sage may see the world of objects with his/her sense perception but with his eye of wisdom he/she perceives Brahman everywhere. (Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma).
