Preacher, Teacher and Master

Preachers share moral lessons from holy texts, and teachers impart knowledge through textbooks, shaping intellect. However, an enlightened Master or Sadguru transcends both, living as a beacon of wisdom. Without personal identity or ego, the Master’s life embodies love, compassion, and truth. Unlike preaching or teaching, their guidance inspires disciples to seek inner realization. The Master’s presence, actions, and silence become the ultimate lesson. While preachers speak of God and teachers explain the world, the Master reveals the Self, leading disciples toward self-discovery and transformation through simply being.
Shri Krishna started teaching Bhagavadgita to Arjuna only when Arjuna took the position of disciple and asked for guidance of Shri Krishna. It is the disciple who invokes Sadguru – Realized Master in enlightened being.
