Let us understand the nature of reality and perception, to realize whether the world exists independently or within our consciousness.The world which appears upon waking is fundamentally a projection of thought. The “I AM” arises first, and from it, the world is created. Since the “I AM” emerges from the Self, understanding the origin of the “I AM” solves the mystery of creation. Therefore, self-inquiry—finding one’s true Self—is the key to understanding reality.
The world springs of the root thought I AM.
I AM is the world of appearances (maya). We have to realize I AM THAT (I AM Brahman) to become free from illusion of maya
