For a successful life, both a healthy body and mind are essential. Physical fitness requires the right work and exercise, often achieved through gym workouts that strengthen muscles like biceps and triceps. Similarly, mental and spiritual strength is necessary to face life’s challenges. In Vedanta, these inner strengths are called the six inner wealths (Shat Sampatti), including control over the mind and senses, patience, and discipline. A life dedicated to self-realization and selfless service (“Atmano Mokshartham Jagad Hitaya Cha”) helps in developing these spiritual muscles, enabling one to navigate life effectively. The world is our spiritual gymnasium.
