Disciple word comes from discipline. Disciple (shishya) is one who is interested in bringing discipline in his/her life.
Sadguru is not a dictator. He does not focus on discipline of shishya.
It is the shishya who works on “self discipline” by following Sadgurus teaching.Sadgurus life is itself is teaching. It is not following Sadguru but learning from life of Sadguru and imbibing in his/her life shishya transforms his/her life.
