Bharat is our motherland.
Bha in Sanskrit means light representing the inner Light of the SELF (Atmajyoti).Rat means bliss. In other words Bharat means land where wise people (enlightened beings) immersed in bliss of SELF lived.
Enlightenment is to realize the wholeness (fullness – purnatva) of human life. To be whole is to be Holy.
Our motherland Bharat is Holy land – Punya Bhumi.
