Our country is called Bharata Varsha. Bharata Varsha is not a geographical land mass. Bha means light of the SELF (Atmajyoti). Rata means bliss (Ananda). Country where enlightened beings lived is called Bharata Varsha.
The word Varsha in sanskrit has two meanings. Varsha means land/country. Varsha also means rains.
Our Holy Mother Land is Bharata Varsha which means Bliss of the light of SELF is raining all the time.
